Registration for POM dating app takes 7 to 10 minutes in total. You only have the option to register through your Facebook login or your mobile number. But even when you choose to log in via Facebook, the app will still require you to input your mobile number for further verification. This increases the security of the app from fake profiles signing up. 

After verifying, POM prompts you with questions to fill up your profile. Questions range from your gender preference to your music favorites; favorite artists, tracks, and genres. You have the option to sync your Spotify or Apple Music and your favorite tracks will automatically be displayed.

As for profile photos, you are required to upload at least two photos. Also, as POM is a matchmaking dating app, you must also provide your current location – you can automatically set this by turning your GPS on, or set it manually.
